The challenge
The client wanted a mobile marketplace with in-app purchases, but app-store platform fees threatened the business model, and Uganda's payment regulations added compliance complexity most agencies overlook.
Our solution
We produced a full technical and commercial scoping document: a tiered build quotation, an in-app virtual currency design built around Stripe and PayPal to legitimately reduce platform fees, a processor fee comparison, and a licensing section covering Uganda's National Payment Systems Act and Data Protection and Privacy Act.
The outcome
The client gained a clear picture of build cost, revenue mechanics, and regulatory obligations before committing to development.
